Sign up to volunteer here - Sarett Volunteer link

Sarett Nature Center
2300 Benton Center Rd.
Benton Harbor, MI 49022

Our field trip is on Thursday, May 2nd.

We will be at the nature center from 1:30-2:30.

We are able to have as many parents as we would like on this trip.

Chaperones will drive themselves and need to meet us at Sarett.

No Siblings please.

All volunteers must have a background check on file with the office.

It is a $3 admission for volunteers.

In the past,  the naturalists had a presentation inside the nature center.

Afterwards, we will  split up into groups and go on a quick nature walk!

Please do not purchase items from the gift shop or bring any snacks for your child as it is not fair for other children.
We will have snacks when we return to the school.

Dress yourself and your Young Five child in weather appropriate clothing and shoes/boots.

It can be muddy in places so do not send in nice new shoes.

Thank you for volunteering

Students with a last name beginning with the letters A-K can bring their VIP on the 18th and students with last names beginning with L - Z should bring their VIP on the 19th. Have a conflict? No problem! just switch days as we want everyone to be able to join us.

Thank you to our PTO for purchasing the donuts and organizing this event.

Please make sure classroom pictures only include students who are in that class. When submitting the picture please note which classroom the picture is from. We would also love more pictures from grade-level music performances, field trips and special activities like ice skating day, Halloween, etc. Thank you for your help!
